Foam glass
Foam glass
Product Overview
Yahong foam glass thermal insulation material, with excellent performance of high temperature resistance, corrosion resistance, low water absorption, has passed many international certifications. By relying on advanced formulas and processes, we meet the stringent insulation requirements of petrochemical storage tanks, building exterior walls, etc., and build a solid energy-saving barrier for the project.
YH foam glass is a new environment-friendly inorganic thermal insulation material with uniform and independent closed air gap structure, which is made of glass as the main raw material, mixed with a proper amount of foaming agent, and cooled by furnace high-temperature foaming and annealing. Due to its complete retention of the chemical stability of inorganic glass, it has low bulk density, low thermal conductivity, no moisture permeability, no water absorption, no combustion, no mold, no rodent bite, high mechanical strength but easy processing, and can withstand all chemical attacks except hydrogen fluoride.
YH foam glass is not only non-toxic and chemically stable, but also has good thermal insulation performance that will not deteriorate in a wide range of temperatures from ultra-low to high temperatures. It also plays a role in moisture-proof, fireproof and anti-corrosion. It is not only safe and reliable, but also durable when used in harsh environments such as low temperature, deep freezing, underground, outdoor, flammable, humid, and chemical erosion. It is known as a "permanent insulation material that does not need to be replaced" and is widely used in the petrochemical and coal chemical industries LNG、 Thermal insulation and flue lining anti-corrosion engineering for pharmaceuticals, underground engineering, shipbuilding, national defense and military industry, as well as sound insulation, fire prevention, thermal insulation, anti-corrosion and moisture-proof facilities for theaters, film and television halls, subways, tunnels, conference halls, shopping malls, exhibition halls, waiting rooms, waiting rooms, basements and other places. It is a new material for external wall insulation and energy conservation that ensures the use of insulation, sound insulation, fire prevention, moisture prevention, corrosion prevention, and rodent infestation prevention in buildings, while also being harmless to human health. It is a green, environmentally friendly, and energy-saving new material actively promoted by the Ministry of Construction throughout the country.
Key Features
(1) Fire prevention, environmental protection, and thermal insulation
A1 Class non-combustible material, categorized as fire-resistant material, eco-friendly material and thermal insulation material.
(2) Long service life
Inorganic glass-based thermal insulation material featuring excellent durability, weather resistance, corrosion resistance, rodent resistance and chemical stability. It will not soften, rust, decay, mildew or age. It boasts a long service life and stable energy-saving performance, known as "permanent thermal insulation material free from replacement".
(3) Excellent dimensional stability
Formed by high-temperature foaming, it achieves outstanding dimensional stability with low linear expansion coefficient, free from deformation and cracking.
(4) Superior thermal insulation performance, durability and stability
With glass as substrate, it features extremely low water absorption (volumetric water absorption <0.5%). Closed internal cells eliminate capillary action, making it nearly non-hygroscopic (water vapor permeability coefficient close to zero). It maintains lasting reliable thermal insulation effect together with optimum waterproof and moisture-proof properties; thermal insulation performance will not degrade over time.
(5) High strength with low bulk density
At an apparent density of 140~180kg/m3, the average compressive strength and flexural strength reaches 0.5~1.5MPa. Among thermal insulation materials with average thermal conductivity around 0.056W/(m·K), foam glass delivers the highest strength, making it the optimal energy-saving and eco-friendly material with low thermal conductivity and high mechanical strength.
(6) Wide operating temperature range
Applicable within temperature range from -268 ℃ to +480 ℃, resistant to both high temperature and extreme freezing. Suitable for harsh working conditions such as high temperature, deep cryogenic cooling, constant temperature & constant humidity environments.
(7) Easy installation & construction
Easy to cut and machine for convenient construction; non-toxic, harmless, safe and environmentally friendly.
